Addressing the stigma associated with mental illness.
In this space, we are connecting positive associations with the mind. Thank you for visiting! The purpose of this blog site is to address the stigma associated with mental illness. This site will also offer an expanded awareness of aspects to consider when improving mental health. This site does not take the place of professional psychiatric treatment. As an advanced practice nurse in psychiatry and an individual who has seen the development of mental illness with family, friends, and in my community, I intend to share perspectives based on knowledge and personal experiences. With a broadened perspective, may come broadened approaches in the management of mental illness. So get comfortable and get ready to be enlightened, inspired, and mentally magnificent!!
